I’m feeling sleepy because it’s been a really long but good day. I have a lot of freelance work I’m doing, and I’m finishing up a book (Davy’s Pirate Ship Adventure Coming April 25th). I will have some sneak peeks on the latter coming soon 🙂
In addition to my illustration work I’m also getting our house ready to put on the market. Fortunately, it mainly needs cosmetic work so I’m devoting some time each weekend to getting the odds and ends done. Today I retextured one of the bathrooms ceilings and tomorrow I’m going to paint it. I’ve always really liked doing work around my house but I have found that it is becoming more and more difficult to find the time. There are a lot of very small things that should have been done a long time ago. Your house never looks as good as it does when you are trying to sell it though 🙂
I’m hopeful that everything will be finished by the end of June though so that we can begin the process of selling it. So exciting!!
