My youngest will be sixteen tomorrow!! Wow! This is me asking her what she wants to do for her birthday:
Me: What do you want to do for your birthday.
Junie: I don’t know.
Me: Do you want to do something with your friends?
Junie: No. Not really. I just want to go out to dinner as a family.
Me: OK. Where do you want to go?
Junie: It doesn’t matter.
Me: What do you feel like?
Junie: I don’t know. I’m sure I will find something I like wherever you take me.
Me: What is your favorite restaurant?
Junie: I don’t have one.
Me: How about that new Mexican restaurant in town?
Junie: No, I don’t like Mexican.
Me: :/
