I often have trouble coming up with titles. They are either too descriptive or too referential. Usually I come up with a title after I scan my artwork. When I save it to my computer I have to name it something and that’s pretty much crunch time when it comes to thinking up a good title.
I had briefly considered naming the above “La la la la la” but right at the end I changed my mind and decided to call it “Wait For Me.” I have been spending a lot of time lately perfecting my monsters, dragons, and animals. I have found that it is helpful to just not try so hard to make them look a certain way. What I’m getting as a result are funnier creatures that aren’t so rigid. As an aside I did just read that this week’s Illustration Friday topic is “Rose” so I think I’ll draw a monster with a rose tomorrow 🙂
